Then check out PADI's Enriched Air Diver program. To enter the program, you'll need to be 15 or older, a PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification).

The PADI Enriched Air Diver program emphasizes the theoretical and operational considerations involved with enriched air diving. Additionally, you'll get to go on two training dives during the program.
...............................................................Why learn to dive with IDC?

 

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be trained to:

  • Dive using enriched air mixtures with between 22% and 40% oxygen.
  • Be familiar with the procedures, safety protocols, hazards, risks, benefits and theory of no decompression diving with oxygen enriched air containing 22% to 40% oxygen.

    2 Ocean Dives Local Dive Site   9:00 AM - 4:00 PM 7

    Knowledge Development \
    Read the chapters from your PADI Nitrox manual, view the Nitrox dvd
    and complete the knowledge review prior to the first class.
    Bring your Nitrox Manual, Nitrox tables, a pen, and notepaper with you to
    each class.
    Be prepared for a 50 question exam.
    Ocean Dives \
    You will analyze and pick up your tanks on Friday afternoon. You will also pick up any other gear you require for the dives.
    You will meet your instructor at either the dive site or IDC Saturday morning at the arranged time.
    Dives will be conducted back to back on Saturday.
