As a PADI MSDT, you demonstrate to a dive employer that you have good experience in teaching diving and also can teach a range of specialty diver courses. This makes a dive center or resort more likely to offer you a position.

Equipment Need
It is highly recommended and expected that, as a diver of this level, you own your own scuba equipment.
IDC will help you with tank rentals for the course dives.
Prerequisites
To qualify as a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, you must
Be a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor Have certified at least 25 PADI Divers (However you still can partake in the course)
Material Need with the course.
In the new 2010 IDC Crew Pack the Specialty Manual is included.
If you do not have the Specialty Manual you will need PADI 70909MUL Digital Version, CD-ROM $269.95
Save time and money by taking a MSDT Preparation Course. When you take you Specialty Instructor Training with a PADI Course Director not only will you gain hands on training and experience, you only need 10 logged dives in each area to apply for that Specialty. You can also begin teaching Specialties sooner as you do not have to document any teaching experience!
You will be able to partake in the IDC Staff level and later the Master DIver Certification.
Able to certify Scuba Divers as Master Scuba Divers.
