C4 Carbon Flap VGR Fins

The first and foremost objective of the new Falcon VGR T-700 is to reduce any waste of energy thereby maximizing safety so important to freediving. The new C-4 composite carbon blade will flex using 75% less energy than conventional blades.

All of this reduces weight, a more streamlined shape, more effective rubber side rails, a perfectly smooth surface that eliminates turbulence.  This anatomically designed bend better aligns the blade to the foot.  The narrower blade helps divert more directional strength and offers lower resistance to sudden turns and changes in direction.

The new blade VGR (variable geometry rails) offers a 40% increase in structural strength compared to the standard T-300 model.  With a standard carbon blade the outer layer is subjected to a wider curvature and stretching than the inner layer which is subjected to more compression, consequently increasing the cause of breakage.

Thanks to the new flexible fibers the new T-700 offers 40% higher tensile strength thus avoiding breakage due to high external stretching and high internal compression.  The C-4 Fuego VGR blade extends all the way to the heel which distributes the flex and the weight load to which it is subjected.  This ensures the best degree of performance coupled with lightweight structural resistance.

Every C4 blade is marked individually with the guarantee number on the back of the blade.
